Dolly Parton might end up with more than just memories from her appearance at Britain's recent Glastonbury festival.
The UK's Guardian says country legend has agreed to adopt a dog that was found by crews cleaning up after the event. The small white lurcher was named Dolly in honor of Parton, and taken to a local animal shelter.
Parton says after she learned about the dog she had her manager contact the shelter to make sure "Dolly" was "being treated and cared for properly." The singer has also promised to bring the dog back to the U.S. "if nobody claims her within a reasonable amount of time."
Parton is currently on tour in Europe. She'll wrap up the trek with an appearance at a festival in Switzerland on July 14th. Her next performance is set for Copenhagen, Denmark on Tuesday.
